     Thailand is located in South East Asia, bordering Burma in the North-West, Cambodia in the North-East, Malaysia in the South and with the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand on either flank. The weather in Thailand is tropical and sanguine; warm, humid and with the Southwest monsoon taking over from about mid-May to September; pleasant, dry and with the Northeast monsoon prominent from November to mid-March. The Southern Isthmus of Thailand is warm and humid throughout the year. Thailand has an abundance of dive-sites several of which are mentioned in reputed listings as being amongst the top ten dive-sites in the world. Also amongst the most famous travel destinations in the world, Thailand has her dive-sites falling into three neat categories; the Andaman area, the Gulf of Thailand and sites around Pattaya as have been indicated in this Map
       Thai Diving Tourism Association (TDTA) was founded in 2004 by a group of dive instructors, travel agencies
and dive shops. The purpose of TDTA is to be the center in providing information and promote diving activities
and dive sites in Thailand including Similan, Koh Tao, Koh Chang, Koh Samui, Chumporn, Pattaya, Phuket,
TDTA also actively coordinates relating diving and tourism businesses and organizations to facilitate its
members and tourists.
